    In this class we will be exploring the capabilities of Copic Markers by making artist trading cards. We will be using a number of different blending and layering techniques as well as combining it with the Faber-Castell Pitt Pen to create small illustrations and hopefully at the end trade them! This is open to those who have more experience with Alcohol-Based markers and wish to learn more about the medium as well as those more new to Copic Markers.

    One 2 1/2 hour sessions. Maximum of 8 students.

    Our classes are now located at our "Studio North" location. When arriving make sure you have all your materials listed below for you class!

    REQUIRED MATERIALS LIST:

    • Any six or more of your choice of colors of Copic Marker (please choose at least one with an intensity (last number) of at least 6)*
    • 1 Copic Sketch 0 Colorless Blender
    • 1 Copic Sketch 100 Black
    • Graphite pencil
    • Faber-Castell Pitt Pen White
    • One pack of Strathmore Bristol Smooth Surface Artist Trading Cards

    *RECOMMENDED COLOR SELECTIONS:

    • Copic Sketch 6 colors set Perfect Primaries
    • Any sequence of colors from the same blending group (first number) ex.V04, V05, V06, V09 or YR12, YR14, YR16, YR18
    • A few of the same family of gray
