Do you find yourself overwhelmed by the blank page? Do you sit down to make work and not know where to start? Are you stuck in your practice and looking to break out of a rut? Do you wish you made more art but don't know your style or what materials you like yet?

Whether any of these apply to you or you’re looking for just a new approach to your art practice, this two-day workshop is for you!

We will use sketchbooks as a basis for a thriving art practice and discuss a handful of ways to find joy in a regular practice of engaging with your sketchbook including prompts, frames, reliable exercises to turn to, and more! The sketchbook can be a great jumping off point for making larger pieces, or it can be a document itself! You’ll learn techniques and approaches that you can apply outside of the workshop as well.

    Two 3 hour sessions.

    Maximum of 8 students.

*To reserve your place in any class, payment must be received at the time of registration.

*For a refund on any of our classes, we will need to be notified at least 48 hours in advance of the first class.

Please see materials list below! (All students get 20% off purchases made while enrolled in a class)

Our classes are now located at our "Studio North" location. When arriving make sure you have all your materials listed below for you class!
