THE QUIET NOTICING PROJECT: A BLUEPRINT FOR DREAMLIKE LIVING (VIA ZOOM) This is a semi-weekly workshop in which we will notice what feels necessary to us and explore how to dream into it. We will ask ourselves: - what brings us comfort? - what can we count on? - who are we? - what sort of space can we make for ourselves? Through writing, drawing, and mixed media, we will collect our quiet noticing in our sketchbooks. We will explore what writing can look like - observational note taking, gathered word lists, and letting our voices run barefoot. We will seek out and record the color palettes that make us feel at home. We will spend time with treasured objects - arranging them and drawing them. We will also spend time with *ourselves* - drawing ourselves as we are or perhaps as we long to see ourselves. We will look for the increments of these creative practices that we can incorporate into our daily lives. We will take time to share with each other and to enjoy a sense of community. {Our work is to welcome our own way of being into this world - and in turn, we will welcome others, too.} Maximum of 6 students. Eight 2.5 hour zoom sessions. Emily Looman (@quietnoticing on Instagram). THIS CLASS HAS FILLED. IF YOU WISH TO BE ON THE WAITING LIST PLEASE CONTACT US AT 541-683-2787 (ext 1)
