Oregon Art Supply is generously offering a 20% discount on all materials for this class!
If you aren’t sure what to get, you can purchase what you need during the workshop.
I will be happy to help and show you what I use!

Palette - a 12x16 (or larger) disposable paper palette pad. Get white, not gray.

Palette knife – not a teeny one. You want to be able to scoop up a pile of paint with it.

Rags or paper towels (I like disposable blue shop towels, available at hardware stores)

Solvent: Gamsol or Turpenoid

  • 2 glass jars with tight-fitting lids
  • Paint - I use M. Graham brand. Please include the following colors:
  • Titanium white
  • Alizarin Crimson
  • Ultramarine Blue
  • Cadmium Yellow (medium)

Brushes - I use Connoisseur taklon (synthetic, white bristles) and hog bristle brushes, but it's up to your preference. A good starter set is a #2 round and a #4 flat.

Cleanup: Murphy’s oil soap or The Master’s Brush Cleaner and Preserver

Canvases or other painting surfaces:

canvas panels, a pad of canvas paper, or any inexpensive painting surface

A standing travel easel. A "french easel" half or full-sized, or similar.

(Sarah has some easels to lend. Please email if you'd like to reserve one.)

A TV table or side table for your palette (optional)

**For a refund on any of our classes, we will need to be notified at least two days in advance of the first class. Please contact us by phone or in person to guarantee that you get refunded for the class you are canceling. Oregon Art Supply does not keep any personal credit information on file and therefore cannot process your refund by email.

All Students enrolled in classes receive 20% off on all Oregon Art Supply materials purchased for their class.
