WATERCOLOR 2: CONTINUING WATERCOLOR FOR BEGINNERS
THURSDAYS: 7/11, 7/18, 7/25, and 8/1, from 10:00 am-12:30 pm
In this class we will focus on a handful of fun techniques to explore, with the goal of achieving a little more predictability with them. You’ll learn to control what happens at the edges of painted shapes. We’ll also talk about setting up our materials in a way that helps achieve the results we desire. Projects will include explorations in color, line and pattern, layering to achieve depth, and treatment of edges. Bring your sense of adventure and spontaneity with you. This medium thrives on it! This class follows Introduction to Watercolor in the series. So, if you have taken Introduction to Watercolor, or have some watercolor experience, this class is for you. Maximum of 7 students.
