Have you always wanted to draw with ink but wondered where to start? During this 5 hour workshop we will explore a variety of ways to draw with ink using micron pens, dip pens, and brush pens. We’ll draw from photo reference and imagination, and learn how to use line weight and hatching techniques to convey form and texture. Join us and find out what a bit of ink can do! Previous drawing experience is preferred. The structure of this class will be weekly classes on Zoom. Each week we will meet virtually—you can join on your desktop computer, laptop, or tablet. I will do a materials demo and show you interesting techniques just as I would in person. Zoom is a video chat software that is really easy to use. Just download the app on your device. I will provide you with a link before class time. Follow the link when class begins, and you are in! Maximum of 8 students. One 5 hour zoom session.
