Whether your travels are coming right up, are far in the future, or still in your dreams, come enjoy visual journaling to document your trip. Explore samples of sketchbooks and travel art kits. Learn techniques for keeping a visual travel journal on-the-go. Enhance journal pages with layouts, lettering, borders and collage. Practice sketching with watercolors. Come have fun in a supportive group setting and begin, or add to, your travel journal.

In the beginning of the first class we will consider different materials, including: sketchbooks, travel paint sets, brushes, and watercolor pencils. You may work in a practice journal as well as in sketchbooks you have already started or plan to take with you. Because we will work with water-soluble materials, be sure your sketchbook/journal has paper that is meant for water based materials (MINIMUM: is 90 lb. weight.) There will also be opportunity to buy materials to supplement what you already have.
