DRAWING AND COMPOSITION
FRIDAYS, 4/7, 4/14, 4/21, and 4/28, from 10:00 am-12:30 pm
Explore how to make composition work for you. Often the difference between a good drawing and a memorable one is in the details of its composition. In this class we will work with ways to guide the viewers eye, create unity, tension and generally achieve more visual interest in our drawings. Conscious choices about the objects we draw, how we arrange and crop them, and how we work with white space, all factor in. This class will allow you to work on your drawing skills, while considering composition from the start. All drawing levels welcome.
Four 2.5 hour sessions. Maximum of 8 students.
