DO IT YOURSELF SCREEN PRINTING

Class meets: SUNDAY 9/19/10 3:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

The goal of this course is to give you a basic understanding of what the Screenprint medium can do, but more importantly how you can make unique prints, shirts, and posters at home! In this course you will design and print your own image. You will learn basic techniques to build a successful hand painted stencil with drawing fluid and screen filler, as well as develop proper printing habits through an exploration of printing on a variety of surfaces. Repeat students are encouraged to signup as well.
One 3 hour session.
$30.00 plus materials fee.
WE PROVIDE: Printing Ink
PLEASE BRING:
Silkscreen(at least 12”x16”), Squeegee(12”or 10”), Brushes, Gloves, Paper or Fabric(Basically anything you think would be fun to print on!), Duct Tape, Masking Tape, Small Rubber Spatula, Pen, Pencil, Blow-dryer (optional, but helpful) and an image you’d like to make into a print.
(For a refund on any of our classes, we will need to be notified at
least two days in advance of the first class.)
