Learn how to make your own unique journal or sketchbook in this basics of hardbound bookmaking class. Students will learn the coptic stitch for bookbinding, as well as how to measure, cut Davey board, and choose the appropriate paper and adhesives for archival purposes. The end result will be a multi-signature, hardbound book, and the skills to make another on your own!
Three 3-hour sessions.
$95.00 plus materials fee.

Bone folder
Waxed linen thread
Paper, decorative papers, Davey Board, & bookcloth (to be discussed in class).
