TRANSFER MARATHON

Learn a number of simple and effective techniques to transfer images from color and black and white inkjet or Xerox copies onto papers and fabric to incorporate into your mixed media art. We will be working with gel medium transfers from transparencies, ink jet copies and Xeroxes, the ever popular and foolproof tape transfer and transfers using the unlikely mediums of Citrasolv and Purell. If you have found working with transfers tricky, this class will give you an opportunity to work out the bugs in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere and make transfer processes a new and compelling element in your mixed media skill set.
One 5-hour session (with 1/2 hour break for lunch).

$55.00 plus materials fee.

WE PROVIDE:
Transparencies, Xerox copies, inkjet copies, gel medium, mat medium, Purell, Citrasolv, packing tape, Contact paper.
PLEASE BRING:
1/4 yard cotton fabric (muslin, or recycled), 1 sheet Bockingford 140 lb. watercolor paper, 1 inch flat , inexpensive bristle brush.
